Discovering MaLGa: Computational Harmonic Analysis & Learning with Matteo Santacesaria
We are excited to announce the fourth talk in MaLGa’s ongoing series of presentations by our Principal Investigators, highlighting the center’s diverse research areas.
On Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM, Professor Matteo Santacesaria will present "Analisi armonica computazionale e apprendimento da esempi” (Computational Harmonic Analysis and Machine Learning) at the Accademia Ligure di Scienze e Lettere, Sala Conferenze, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa.
This talk will take us through the transformation of signals into images, with a particular focus on inverse problems and medical imaging. Professor Santacesaria will explore the fundamentals of signal analysis, the challenges of image reconstruction—including noise and artifacts—and how artificial intelligence is reshaping the field by enhancing image quality and diagnostic accuracy. This interdisciplinary journey spans mathematics, physics, and advanced imaging technology.
This event is open to the public and will be held in Italian. Seating is limited to 70 participants, but those unable to attend in person can watch the recording later on the Accademia’s YouTube channel, at the link below.
Don’t miss this opportunity to dive into the fascinating world of computational imaging and AI!
